Management software for campsites and open-air hospitality
A short season, teams renewed every year, three outlets that open and close together. Management cannot wait until September.
What gets in the way on a campsite
-
Everything plays out over a few months
A margin error at a snack bar open from June to September cannot be recovered: the season ends before the accounts reveal it. You need to see drift in July, not in November.
-
An entirely new team every year
Seasonal staff arrive alongside the holidaymakers. Teaching them to count stock, hold a portion size or log waste has to take minutes, not days.
-
Three trades in one place
The snack bar, the bar and the grocery share neither margins, nor turnover rates, nor expiry risk. Tracking them together amounts to tracking none of them.
What FoodCostOS changes
-
You see the season while it happens
Material cost, stock value and alerts kept current. A ratio slipping in July gets corrected in July.
-
A seasonal hire up and running in ten minutes
Guided counting on a phone with barcode scanning, and link-based access for operators without an account. The help is on the screen, not in a binder.
-
Every outlet has its own figures
Snack bar, bar, grocery: separate stock, tracked transfers between them, margins compared. And connecting your POS (eSeason POS among others) removes the re-keying.
Frequently asked questions on campsites
What happens between two seasons?
End-of-season stock is counted and valued, then carried over at the next opening. Your recipe cards, suppliers and items stay in place: a new season does not start from scratch.
Do our seasonal staff need accounts?
Not necessarily. An operator can run a stock count or confirm a log via an access link, with no account to create and no prior training.
Is the grocery handled like the snack bar?
Yes, in the same tool, with distinct logics: bought-and-resold items for the grocery, manufactured products with recipe cards for the snack bar. Each keeps its own margin.
